Hi, and thank you for clicking on this blog post! If you're here, you're either curious, or you're definitely going through a Spiritual Awakening. More than likely, you're going through it, because you're on a site like this.
What is a Spiritual Awakening?
I think it all begins when we start to question our own existence and where we are in this world. When we question if there is a God or if we are "really" alone. When we question all things. When we see something that doesn't quite sit right with us. When we use our "feelings" our "inner knowings" and go against the grain of normalcy. When we just can't do "normal" anymore.
That is the start of the journey. We call this Ascension...
Once we start to question our reality, we open ourselves up to one of my favorite games as a child "what if?" And when we go down that road, we expand. What does that mean? Well, we expand our universe. Instead of placing ourselves in one box, we open up to more. Our universe gets a little bit bigger. And with every "what if" we get a larger more expansive experience. We are Divine SOULS having a HUMAN experience. When we die what is left? Our Soul. So, we are not a body, we are a soul...and the experiences our body has while we are here is just one part to this whole thing. What happens to our soul afterward? Just by wondering about this question, we expand.
This is the first part of your journey. Awareness.
Now what? Well, when my journey started picking up, I saw a lot of things around me that were concerning. I saw things that didn't make sense to me. The way our government works, the way we slave around for pennies on the dollar and are just working to get things. We are so tired by the end of the day that we aren't able to enjoy the things that we have around us. We are "working for the weekend" as the song suggests. What kind of life is that? I started questioning everything. I also started noticing that the things that I used to eat weren't good for me anymore. They were either making me physically ill or they were different. Not only does our physical body change and evolve over time, so does our inner body...our spiritual existence. What happens with a spiritual awakening is our consciousness rises to a higher level. We become more aware of the things around us. We start to listen to that inner voice. And what's wild is we start to understand what that "inner voice" is. This all leads us to Source, The Creator of All... Our higher selves.
This is us being aware of what we have done, who we are, where we are going, how to get rid of Karma and how to live in Darma. This could be one lifetime or over several. We are all eventually going back to THE ONE...
Imagine God as a circle that is broken up into billions of circles. We all have a piece of God in us, and we are all living individual lives with God in our center (even if you don't have a belief system there yet. This isn't religion.)
If you can't handle hearing this part, think of "God" "Source" "Universe" as your consciousness. That inner part of you that speaks to you.
Right now, we are all in separation from the whole. Meaning God has expanded outward in all of us. And we are all on separate journeys, living our lives, having experiences. Now, once we have learned from these experiences and have done our lessons, we go back to oneness. we learn about everything. How the universe works, how to get rid of karma, how to learn from our mistakes, how to forgive, and how to see others with compassion. When we start doing this with everyone, when we start seeing the "God" or "good" in everyone in our lives, whether they were good or bad to us, we start to expand even further. When we forgive, we show love and compassion. When we see "God" in everyone, and know that they are learning just as we are, and that everyone makes mistakes, big or small, we change our view, our observation level, and more things around us change. Our vibration, or frequency changes. The people around us change with us or they fall away from us. They are either happy, or they get darker... the darkness doesn't comprehend the light. When the light shines on the dark, it exposes things...it exposes the truth. When we go through a spiritual awakening, we start to see things for what they truly are. We start seeking the truth. You see the dark, and you see what you no longer want. And we start living a more conscious life.
We then start to be more selective, and we begin to have boundaries.
This raises your vibration, too. Every experience that comes to you is a mirror. If someone is being mean to you it is for a reason. And you are to see it as something that needs to change within you, so the experience no longer has to reflect your issue. If you've been mean to people, they will be mean to you. If you don't like fat people, you will see you not wanting to be fat, so nobody else can be fat.
This process takes time and lots of inner work. If you're here and you've watched tarot readings, you will see the hermit card a lot in your awakening. This card is perfect for the person that needs to be alone with themselves. To go inside and to listen to what you are consciously being taught. When we ascend (rise through our awakening) we start remembering who we really are and our purpose for being here. This isn't a five-minute process. It takes time. And it is well worth all of the blood, sweat and tears...loads of tears. Ugh...
This is what helps us become the very best version of ourselves, our preferred Avatar.
So, do you have a better grasp on what a Spiritual Awakening is now?
If you answered yes or no, the good news is that I will be posting helpful tips and courses so you can learn how to "Heal Yourself" as well as others on Angel Numbers, Ascending through Religions Dogma, Ascension Symptoms and What they are, as well as understanding how to channel and work within the energies.
I can't wait to expand our awareness together!
Love,
Danielle
